Train Romance

I US Vogue februar nummeret er der en smuk modeserie, der går under navnet “Brief Encounter”. I modeserien ses Natalia Vodianova og Sean “Diddy” Combs (?), og billederne er taget af fotografen Annie Leibovitz.
Jeg er helt forelsket i lady-like stylingen og location, selvom det desværre aldrig er ligeså glamourøst at rejse med tog i virkeligheden.

Well this is completely insane, and so stolen from my draft for “Dark Train Romance” collection in 2006. My model was just blonde, wearing all black/dark couture dresses and didn’t include P.Diddy. Remember?!
Anyway, of course I would think this is an amazing spread. Nostalgic even.
I simply knew I was gonna hear from you after posting this. :o) The train theme is definitely not ground-breaking as it is seen before, but I still love the location, colours and the styling in this spread. And Natalia and her lean body! AMAZING! I could have been without Diddy though. :o) He’s not very fashionable to me - more like some gangster!
Btw it also reminds me of Chanel no. 5 short film with Audrey Tautou, remember that one?
I know it’s not groundbreaking, but these kind of adds always seem to amaze me. I’ve had a train/train-tracks related fetish since I was born I know, let it go.
I felt the same way when the Chanel no5 add came out back then, and it’s all very similar/elegant to me.
ps. Natalia works just perfectly in any add.
